B.sc

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or B.S. is one of the most popular academic degree courses among the science students after class 12th. The duration of B.Sc. degree course ranges from 3 years to 5 years, depending upon the country in which you are studying for eg. In India the course is generally of 3 years whereas in Argentina the course duration is 5 years.


 

BDS is one of the most popular and designated degree of dentists (doctors). The BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the only educational and professional programme of dental surgery in India. It is equivalent to the MBBS and owes the “Dr” domain. In the medical educational field, it is the second choice of the students after the MBBS course.

The B.Sc. degree course is a graduate degreee; this can be a part-time or full-time course. This course forms the basis of science and comprises of the subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, zoology and mathematics.
After the completion of the B.Sc degree there are various options available for the science students, they can go for master degree in Science i.e. M.Sc, go in a research area and can even look for professional job oriented courses. Often, in some reputed universities or colleges in India and abroad the students are recruited directly by big MNC’s after their completion of the course.

Admission:


The admission to the various B.Sc. courses are done on the basis of qualifying class 12th examinations in (PCM/B ) stream, followed by percentage of marks scored in class 12th and counseling. Some professional B.Sc. courses like fashion technology, interior design, multimedia, animation allow the students of other stream (other than science) to take admission.
Some public and private college also conducts examinations for the admission to various B.Sc. degree courses.

There are various opportunities available for the students after B.Sc. the students can go in a research field, in some colleges the students are recruited directly by the big organizations at a very good salary package, some professional B.Sc. courses like animation and IT open the door of animation and IT industry for the graduates, the other professional B.Sc. field also have vast career opportunities.

Salary:


The salary of an individual in this field depends in which field he is working; some professional B.Sc. courses like IT and Computer Science have very good scope and pays handsome salary to the deserving students. The starting salary in this field may range from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 30,000.
